I am a former Davis student, who graduated high school from Dade County High in 1996. I attended Northeast Community College in Rainsville, AL on a full-paid academic scholarship. I later transferred to the University of Alabama where I completed my B.S. in Elementary Education. I began work shortly after, teaching 3rd grade at a nearby school in Alabama. The following school year, I received a job offer from Davis Elementary as an EIP teacher. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to come back "home." The next year at Davis, I taught 5th grade. The following summer, I attended The University of West Alabama (online) to complete my master's degree in Library Science and became the Media Specialist at Davis Elementary.
I met my husband while I was in college at the University of Alabama. We have been married for 15 years and have two wonderful boys, Carson, a freshman at Dade County High, and Connor, a 5th grader. In my past time, I love spending time with my family, cooking, vacationing, and watching Alabama football. ROLL TIDE!!
