Our Time to Shine is Here
One of my heroes, Paul Bear Bryant, from the University of Alabama once said, "Never quit. It is the easiest cop-out in the world. Set a goal and don't quit until you attain it. When you do attain it, set another goal, and don't quit until you reach it. Never quit."
As we enter April, our students have a chance to show how much they know on the CRCT test. As I have walked the halls these past few weeks, I have observed students and teachers diligently learning and practicing, much like a football team preparing for the championship game. Despite possible distractions from construction, the weather, and fatigue from nine months of hard work; our students and teachers have lived out our motto: "Nothing stops the learning!"
I am proud of all of our hard work and all our students have accomplished this year. Please take a few moments in April to talk to your child about having a "Never Quit" attitude. Even when the work is difficult and long and less interesting than a TV show, computer game, or baseball practice, even when we are frustrated and tired, we can never quit. With a "Never Quit" attitude, our children can accomplish their dreams.
